Instrument cluster

So I pulled my dash cluster on the 70 today to replace the bulbs.

The circuit board looks to be original. It's stamped Jan 1970. It doesn't seem to have any damage and other then the instruments being really dim appears to be working fine.

So the question is should I replace it just as a precaution before it goes bad?

Any other parts that should be replaced as long as I have it apart?

Have you looked into buying the LED bulb replacements. They are suppose to be brighter than regular bulbs.

More likely due to a headlight switch rheostat having more resistance than it should, fuse box contacts having corrosion...that sort of thing. Even so, the dash clusters are not particularly bright.

It could also be due to age of the eyenuts behind the wheel...

I was wondering if I should replace the headlight switch too. It does dim and brighten the lights, but they never get bright enough.
