Knotts StangFix agenda (Apr 15th – Apr 17th):
Friday night: drinks & dinner,
Saturday: Cruise to PetersenMuseum,
Saturday night dinner: Rock & Brews Restaurant,
Sunday: Knotts SHOW,
Sunday night: ‘Those who stayed over Dinner’
Monday: Cruise home.




Okay here’s the SF agenda for the 2016 Fabulous Fords Forever Knotts week-end.





Friday morning: cruise in for those from NorCal (Apr 15th):

Central Valley folks make your plans.

Rallying point is the Rest Area (first one south of Hwy 152 Los Banos) southbound side I-5 at 8am sharp. The NorCal group will be heading south in order to get to LaLaLand before the afternoon traffic. Same gas stop at Kettleman City, (exit Hwy 41 east) next to In-N-Out Burger and gas/lunch stop at the bottom of the Grapevine (exit Wheeler Ridge Rd/ Lavall Rd, right on Dennis McCarthy Dr) rally at the large US Flagpole on left before we leave there.

Suggested motel: Marriott Courtyard, 7621 Beach Boulevard Buena Park, California 90620, this is where most of us from NorCal end up staying.



Friday night: Casual get-together, drinks, dinner, talk

Where: Outback Steakhouse (7575 Beach about ½ mile north of Knotts)

Time: 6pm (beat the Friday night rush)



Saturday: Cruise to Petersen Museum, 6060 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036
$15 Adult, $12 Parking
Just meet at Marriott Courtyard, 7621 Beach Boulevard Buena Park, (Apr 16th):
Time: leave at 9:00am



Saturday Night: Rock and Brews, 7777 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA90620
Time: 5:30pm

We’re changing it up this year by suggestion. So lets see how Gene Simmons place is..like he needs our money.

For Rock & Brews, are you doing a group reservation with a limited menu (like we have done at Belmont Brewery) or is everyone on their own off the regular menu?
 
I made reservations for 20 off the normal menu. I didn't think we wanted to be limited to their group offering of only pizza.
 
Mike - at this time there will be 4 of us for each of the three dinners. Will we need to pay for any of them ahead of time?

OK...

Nope...all dinners will be off the normal menu with individual checks.
 
I am up for the friday night dinner, and hopefully saturday festivities, if I don't have to work...

I usually do Portillos after the show. I know you guys walked over for lunch, but there is too much to see at the show to leave!!

Perfect! thanks for putting this all together Mike. We are looking forward to another wonderful time. The Peterson Museum is a great idea as I have had it on my list to return now that they are done with the remodeling.
 
Why are we seeing only 1 next to your name ? Is Joanne coming ? Toni is
pestering me to find out

I have you down for 1 on Friday ONLY.
 
Put me down for Friday and Sunday dinners! I will be there assuming someone is game to cart me around ;)

Not sure about Saturday yet.

Also, I think you may have some trouble with days of the week and the whole AM/PM distinction... LOL
 
1- I can't get the past fixed on the 67 in time and 2- we are taking our vacation the week after and don't want to travel in either car. We'll have the dog and I want to be able to sleep while on vacation.
