Decided to do a build thread now that I can work on it again.
Got the it 9/8/82 and it's been with me ever since. Moved from Philadelphia to Niagara Falls with me in 91 and is still in the process of being rebuilt and restomodded.

The floor had to be replaced :

Soon as I find the disc with the pics of the lower cowl I'll post them.

very cool. you did a lot of work to save that one! I had to replace pretty much everything but the roof on mine but you didn't even have a roof!

Thanks guys. It has been a learning experience with it. My wife does refer to it as the other woman.

Here's the lower cowl repair. I kinda got pissed after this one because I hand built it and 3 months later CJ's and Mustangs Unlimited started selling the replacement cowls for the 69/70. :censored

Nice to see another 70 vert being saved. They are a rare breed.

Looks like you have got a handful with that one.
Keep the updates coming.

Found the disc with some of the pics on it.

Shaved door handles. I decided to do this when I saw that 70 fastback on Overhaulin that was done at one of the sema shows. Thought the panels looked great without the handles cluttering up the door. Did this awhile ago. Cigs and a stash and I think I downed a couple of bottles of Guinness when I was done.

Cool.
I remember that episode. Wasn't it the gambler?

They also did a 70 convertible with fastback rear quarters and a ducktail spoiler. That's what I want to do with mine someday. Not likely to ever happen though.

Yeah. The guy who set his father up worked at Mustang Depot in Vegas and ended up putting the car up for sale on ebay after about 6 months. That was a 69 vert they did the Fastback quaters on.Foose ended up cutting a fastback trunklid to weld to the coup trunklid. That episode came on the day I picked up a DVD burner for the TV. I think I still have it laying around here somewhere.

That's right. It was a 69. I kind of forgot. Looked good though. Added a little more muscle to the vert.

Yeah,I told my wife if I ever hit the Lottery. I'm going to fill 2 5 gallon buckets with cash and drop the buckets and the car off at Foose's and tell him to call me when it's either done or he runs out of money. That vert was no doubt sweet......

Started getting some primer on the fender. It started to get some flash rust on it and I decided to spray some etching primer on it.
