This hit my e-mail...just sharing a scam for you all to look out for...there was no page to post....just this in an e-mailed article.

Compensation
Scam
Letter
Dear Peter,

A letter is making the circuit purporting to be from the Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS) asking military member's fiancees to register in the system entitling them to benefits in the event of the member's death. All for only a $350 fee. This is not a genuine DFAS letter -- it is a scam. The letter is a typical scam phishers use to try and obtain your personal information and, in this case, money. DFAS will never send unsolicited e-mail messages with attachments.

It has also been reported by several veterans and veterans organizations that the DFAS Scam Letter has circulated around many organizations.

Actually an original cut and paste issue as normal....just forgot to hit save on the repost ...... old age I guess.

And now it is a fail......crap.

Guess it was the "high hat" (or what ever it is called) symbol that screwed it up all around.
