Nice Tucker page...

Those are some awesome pics pete. :conf I wonder what todays market would value a car like that at. Anyone know if ones sold at auction lately?

WOW, they drive it. I've never seen one go across any of the auction blocks, I'd be curious to see what one would bring.

$750,000 at auction on June 7th.....
Wow, what auction, find any other info? I looked for a couple minutes then gave up! Can you imagine a chunk like that. I'd be hard pressed not to sell.

I am a firm believer in driving these old cars......but a value like that could put a different light on a Sat. night cruise in at Wally World.....

I have seen two or three of these and they are amazing cars. This place, http://www.tacm.com/carmuseum/thecars.htm , has one plus the Studebaker made to look like a tucker that was totaled in the movie. That was an interesting car also.

How cool is this one....

So they are not ricer pipes after all.......they should be called "Tuckers"

That is a nice one for sure.

Those are stunning cars. I've never seen one in person, but I sure hope to some day.

I did a little reading up on them a while back and found a site I bookmarked. The Official Tucker Club of America
http://www.tuckerclub.org/index.php

The interesting things to me were that:
1) they have a Forum. How much talking can you do about 52 cars?
2) They have a list of all 52 cars, and as much data as they know about where the car is now, and whether or not you can see it:

I saw one up close at the Ford Towe Auto Museum in Sacramento a few years ago. It was a roaming display, but I believe it was fully functional. Very interesting, very nice car. One of the cooler things I discovered is that they have a very large under-dash area designed to allow the passengers to duck under it in case we ever got bombed/nuked (this was during the cold war).
