No way to keep dry eyes watching this...

I think my most fondest memory of my husbands homecomings was after being in Okinawa for 7 months. It was his first long deployment and we had only been married just a little over 1 year. When he left, I was 3 months pregnant with our son and my daughter was only 4. My son was born Dec 9th, and he came home Jan 18th. He had seen pictures of our son already, but that first meeting was...well there is no words to describe it really. They had photographers there for the base newspaper and one of them was able to get a picture of my husband holding his son for the first time. Sadly it didn't get published, and we never could get ahold of a copy of it.

The little Christmas girl reminds me so much of my daughter the day he came home. Since he missed Christmas, we kept the tree up and decorations and got to celebrate the holiday 5 wks late. It was the best holiday ever. :)
