OK...what is this?

Just doing some general cleaning under the hood and I find this above the brake booster.

Its coming out of the firewall. It looks to be a vacuum or water connection.

Could this be my windshield washer foot pump? Or something that should be connected to the brake booster vacuum?

I think that's the feed line to the nozzles.

Does the 67/68 wiper line go through the firewall and then to the cowl?

It is the very rare pee tube. Relief w/o having to ever pull over and stop. A real time saver. It was standard on all BB 4 speeds. They had 2 of them go thru the Barrett-Jackson auction last month.

With that type of tubing and a plastic connector it sure aint anything but the windshield washer. Amazing that they passed the washer through the firewall though. I'm assuming that your washers don't work, right?

Its the windshield washer tube...the plastic f connector broke. Yes it does go through the firewall to the foot pump.

I'm a little worried about that clamp around your brake booster. Is that what that is?
