What you will need
1 fairly large onion
Some Mushrooms of choice cut up Optional
Assortment of Peppers (More color the better)
1 Package of Knoor Garlic and Herb Sauce Mix
About a pound of Sausage (Your choice) I like the Mild Italian
Tomatoes either Fresh or Canned Include liquid if your using canned
Cut up Onions and peppers into small pieces Saute In pan with butter Start with Onions than
Peppers than when there done add in tomatoes and Mushroom's and for just a bit until warm.
While this is happening cook your sausage in another pan DONT OVERCOOK, break up into small pieces
Also while this is happening cook up about 1/2 box Orzo (Follow directions on Box) than drain and put in large bowl
Follow directions on Garlic and Herb Sauce
Once everything is done combine all ingredients in large bowl and mix it up.
This is fairly large recipe and I take about 1/2 and freeze for quick use another day. Also if I have time I do this in morning and let refrigerate all day letting flavors meld together and reheat just before serving. Goes real well with fresh bread if your into making bread.
