radio in glove box?

i now have an original uncut center console and im just going to mount my original radio in there as a dummy setup because it wont be able to power my speakers. Is it possible to still have it just light up for looks when the instrument lights are on. oh ya im going to have a automatic center plate for sale if any one wants one

Does anyone make a kit that will allow me to mount my sony cd radio in the glove box?
any links or pics would be great thanks
