It stopped snowing, for now. It is only may so you never know.

And our state bird only comes out at night. Blood sucking little bastards!

Ah it can't be too bad. In fact super nice show car paint is way over rated. Right after mine was painted I worried about every little thing. Now that it has some road rash and door dings I don't worry so much.

What's with the off-color little stripes running along the top edge? :p I kid. Looks great.

Well one more issue off the list.

I have been having problems with the car stalling on cold start up. It went away after a few minutes of stumbling.
I thought it was a fuel pump issue. Couldn't find anything.

Finally got a code pulled that led me to the IAC. Idle air control valve. I replaced it late last night.
Went out to start it today and the battery was dead. ugh! Charged it all day and after work I fire it up to go for a drive.
Started like a champ. No stumbling, no rough idle. runs even stronger now. It roars at idle now. :D

That's great to hear. Sounds like you've got everything squared away and ready to roll next month.

Snuck a bit of garage time before work today.

Jen bought me a dash cam to take on the tour. Mounted and ran all the wire under trim panels today.

Continued a bit on the console. Wrapped a little vinyl over the top. Now I need to cut in the cubbies and shifter hole and then I can install it. [IMG][IMG]

my wife and I put new seat covers on the truck today for the trip. The bench seat was not original to the truck. Not sure what year or model it came from. That made trying to install 72 upholstery a bit of a challenge but we hillbilly rigged it. It's just an old Chevy anyway right?!? IMG_0308 (2).JPG IMG_0311.JPG

    Looks good.

Is there going to be enough room in there for me or do I have to ride in the bed when my car breaks down?

Mostly finished the console for the power tour. There are a few things I didn't get done. I wanted to add a couple gauges in front of the shifter and a cell phone cubby in the middle. Oh well.

At least I have a place for my drinks and my arm for the drive.
