Residual pressure?

Hello everyone, I have a question about this. I have the granada brakes on the front with the maverick mc and drum brakes on the rear. I have plumbed in a prop valve to the rear drums and that help immensely with the rear not locking up (had that happen just once and that was enough in the rain...definitely a pucker moment when we spun around 3 times with swmbo screaming the whole time...oh hell yeah!). Well the only issue I have now is that the pedal pressure height is a little lower than I like. I want it engage higher up, so do I need to install the residual pressure valve that I have? If I do, should it be before the prop. valve or after? Thanks, Gary. PS, I put the Granada brakes on way back before there was any other option except to change out the spindles etc. to the original style discs. Got them for $50 at the old jy back then...lol.
