Rex - '66 Coupe, a father/son project

I bought a '66 coupe for my 15 y.o. son. The body work was mostly done, but it was pretty much a rolling shell with a rebuilt 302 and a rebuilt C4 loosely mounted (with incorrect separator plate, flex plate, and torque converter). I wanted to rebuild it with him as a project where we could spend more time together and I could teach him a few things. I also figured it wouldn't hurt for him to have his own $ and skin in the game either. Hopefully he'd take better care of it that way. We made some safety upgrades along the way: 3 point seatbelts, bucket seats with headrests, collapsible steering column, hand brake, & front disc brakes.

This is a great looking start. Where abouts are you in DFW? I'm in Fort Worth myself. It'd be fun to go cruising once you get it running.
