My Mustang been a little neglected this year - too much going on with work and the band (www.hwy-31.com). But today I figured I would fire it up and at least run the engine a bit. Just as it turns over smoke starts billowing from the dash. A lot of smoke! I was very close to grabbing the fire extinguisher but first tried blowing air up under - this either worked or it was out already. Pulling the cluster, one of the ground lines was completely fried. Gonna need to either send this harness to Midlife for him to work his magic or buy a complete new one. This one was pretty rough even before today's fire. Too bad Cherie Westrich doesn't live next door...
