The answer is quite simple really....
"Eggs" have been in existence for millions of years. Dinosaurs laid "eggs". Pre-historic fish laid eggs.
Chickens are not "pre-historic".
Therefore, the egg came before the chicken.
The paradox is not the question "which came first, the chicken or the egg?". The paradox is the question "which came first, the chicken or the chicken egg?"
