Had the car running yesterday, battery is fully charged and all connections are tight, went to start it this morning to go to a car show and nothing just a slow click. It did make a screeching noise when I started it yesterday but went away after it ran for about a minute. Car ran fine yesterday. bad starter I am thinking any other ideas? By the way it is a 351C motor

The screeching noise could be a loose alternator belt resulting in it not charging the battery. How old is the battery and has it sat in an uncharged state for a while? My guess is the battery is dead. Try charging it again and see if you get it to start.

The battery is less then a year old and is fully charged, all belts and pulleys are tight, The belts were the first things I checked when I heard the noise. Whenever the car will be sitting I use a battery tender to keep it up to snuff.
