So, you can't say or have alternate views even when you are in your own home. While I think the guy's a moron, IIRC...he still has the right to think and say whatever the fuck he wants. It's disgusting that so many people are weak minded and easily offended. If it was me, I'd have a press conference and tell everyone to go fuck themselves.

Yeah, yeah, he was fined by the gov for not wanting to rent to blacks (among other things). Took his lumps and went on. http://www.businessinsider.com/donald-s ... 4-4#!GsXuf

Doesn't change the fact that it's not against the law to have an idiotic opinion.

Typical of the PC police on the left, if you don't like what you hear, shut it down. And the left has always had a history of defending the 1st amendment (as long as it suits their needs).

They're eating their own. Don't interrupt the enemy while they're infighting.

My favorite part in all of this is that the racist idiot was to be HONORED by the NAACP soon. The guy has a bit of a known racist history but they were all set to praise him (latch onto his money teet) before this whole escort (being nice here) recording broke.

I'm sure the next big angle out of this will be the media attacking that ex-player for suggesting that there should be an all black league. The racist. Oh wait. Never mind.

That's true, but will you feel the same when they come after you?

    Yes, he does.

So, doesn't the NBA have the right to not include him in their Association?

If you are offended by the NBA actions, does that make you weak minded?

I don't think he has been accused of breaking any laws, in this matter.

NBA sucks anyway. If they (NBA) was worth a shit and the Clippers were winning (see bringing in cash and fans) this would be swept under the rug.

Bullshit! I bet the NBA wished the Clippers were winning big time, just to make a statement that no matter how hot you think you are......

Wouldn't that just add to his issues if the money was used for research on a problem that effects his least favorite race.....they should have kept it and advertised the great help the money did.

That is why it's all about "feelings" and this ridiculous idea of political correctness. This crap even trumps huge amounts of money going to worthwhile research. If it wasn't such a knife in the 1st amendment, I'd be with Jamie on this one.

I smell what you're stepping in. Ed Markey is trying to push a bill for the govt to monitor the internet and tv for anything they deem "hate speech".

Actually, I think he owns a franchise, as far as the NBA is concerned.

Horseplay I Don't Care. Do you?

He owns the team. The NBA has rules that specify why an owner can be forced out. What he he did is not among them. Not even close. What is happening here is wrong. A man made a statement in the privacy of his house and now he is having his rights and property taken away. Someone show me a single law broken (other than him being illegally recorded) or a law specifying this treatment. Even a written rule by the NBA that he is required to abide by that was broken.

I am not in anyway defending what he said. I'm not even defending his right to say it...although that is a pretty darn easy defense to conduct. I am pointing out that rules and laws are being broken by those acting against him and that he did not commit such a foul.

So here's a simple question. The next time someone, anyone, in the NBA utters the dreaded "N" word what happens to them now? Obviously, they will have to be immediately booted from the league, right?

and just today we hear of a dim rep calling Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas an "Uncle Tom". I wonder if he will be banned from public service and fined?

The precedent has been set. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/rep-bennie- ... uncle-tom/

Note: the story is from CBS news for you Fox haters.

So if they give him the boot, he can't lawyer out of it. And if he hasn't broken a rule, they will make a new rule that he has broken or increase the punishment of an existing rule.

It doesn't really matter. The players aren't going to play for him. the sponsors aren't going to sponsor him, etc.,......

    He's toast.

Nah, he will just be banned from the Supreme Court. Too bad. I hear he was going to be Obama's next nominee. :pop
