Dream Car Garage did a great segment on Shelby coupe about 15 years ago... They finally published it on Youtube. Great video to go with the reading.

Sorry, can't sponsor your addiction when I'm trying to feed mine!

Were you in that 67 FB when it embraced the telephone pole?

No , I bought this wreck in Germany where a guy's girlsfriend took this fastback and hit a tree. He wasn't pleased with the situation !!!!

Well sometimes when you are spending a lot of time on the road and sitting in the hotel you can get board.

That's why it is referred to as "Room and Board".

I see what you did there, used my incorrect spelling of the word bored to make a funny. Nice work.

We were pitted with the only other "old" car. A crazy spin on Terlingua! It had the crazy rabbit logo, but with one finger up in the air! They had to change out the engine for day 2.

Mark, I'm confused - thought you had a fastback, but the pic shows 2 coupes. You helping someone else or do you have a T/A or A stock coupe also?

He figures that by driving someone elses car the longer his runs before the engine blows. Just sayin.

I was not in my car. Mine is set up for vintage racing and the coupe is running Chumpcar series in the D class.

Chumpcar sounds interesting. Did the read-up on it and sounds like a fun gig for less money, but no racing is "cheap" .

It really is a lot of fun...with the right team! I'd have little to no interest running a newer car. As with any racing though, things always break. It's how you overcome the problems that adds to the experience. Endurance racing is a blast.
