I think I have it all figured out. It's all about the top. People like Convertibles when they take the top down, they even make a fiberglass Fastback removable tops for Convertibles. Fastback owners will take a rust bucket and remove the Fastback top to put it on another Fastback or Coupe. Coupe owners will remove their top and try and make a Fastback or sometimes even a Convertible, but no one ever tries to make a Convertible or Fastback into a Coupe.

This is because they made so many more coupes back in the day and they are still a dime a dozen for your run of the mill C-code car. If someone wanted a coupe they don't have to "make one" they have many to choose from to go and buy one.

Given those production numbers....which car do you think was more popular and sold more back in the 60's?

Those would be what we here at the Fix would commonly call the 3rd Generation mustangs! :roll :hide
You can call 'em 12th generation mustangs if you want. We could give a flying :censored either way. :bowdown

The cheapest one. Nobody goes to the club looking to take home the average looking girl but when they realize what they can afford some time around 1:00 a.m. they settle, right? Go to a Ford dealer and drool over the GT-500 or Boss but drive out in a lesser model. Same deal. Not bashing coupes but that's how it normally goes.
