If you overnite to your Mom and Dad at Juniper Springs I can pick it up on the way to the 4 days and nights We are spending at the beach this New Years weekend. This is where we stayed last Nov. and are going back to.

Highs in the 70's and Blue skies...as Zac Brown has said " I 've got my toes in the water and my Ass in my sand...not a worry in the world with a cold beer(or Margarita) in my hand..Life was good today"

The PT passing the Mustang is just wrong Tony :nut

The tennis balls are just in case he had a dog, they're great exercise toys! I get hundreds every couple of months when my brother replaces them at his tennis club. I usually pass them around to the puppy raisers for the diff service dog organizations.

Couldn't help myself with the video... Hopefully I didn't dispell any bad karma on myself if I ever get to a track day. ... and for the record, the Mustang is way faster. the camera weighs more than the car, so that slowed it down a bit. Also had to wrap an elastic to the PT's rear tire to get it to track straight.

No dogs in our house (yet)... I'm thinking we'll get one when life settles down a bit. For now a few will get used by my boys for street hockey.

This was a cool gift... Thx Mark!

Here is what I got from Horseplay, Terry Rodgers

Emergency Travel Kit
Wilwood Stickers
Used Accelerator pedal
Safety Goggles
A couple couple DVDs and a CD ( I have already watched the "Dream, Build, Drive" DVD)
A 65 Hot Wheels Fastback
Some calipers
And a Sound Racer - MP3 Player.

Thanks Horseplay!

Oh, the Sound Raver is not a MP3 player. Plug that baby into your cigarette lighter (do we still call them that?) and out of your radio comes the rumbling tune of a big V8. For those daily commutes when the mustang stays home you can still enjoy the beautiful music of a real engine!

As far as the movie goes, The Outsiders may not be a "car" flick but there is a mustang and of course, a young Diane Lane!

Road Rage figure

Glad you like the stuff. I received the Road Rage toy from Rapid Rabbit as last year's WE gift. I kept it in my office and had fun with it. Scared the hell out of my dogs, so it was time to share with another SF'er.

John ..I forgot to mention that it scared the hell out of my dogs as well. It's funny that you mentioned sending it on after a year. That's what I thought I would do next year..see how many places he can go and spread the fun. Now who did Rapid Rabblt get it from :confu

I see 2 past items of mine that I originally sent up above. Funny how that works.

you need to do that with that sweater next year. it should be passed around each year with the recipient having to post a picture wearing it in a public place. would be loads of fun!! :thu

Maybe I'll do that with the PT Rules shirt I got last Christmas!

I honestly thought about that. I wish I would have done that now.

Next year.... watch out.

Look at you, coming to visit California on New Years.

LoL

My WE gift box from Kevin finally arrived via the USPS. It was well worth the wait! Not sure what all the PM warnings were all about. You'd think he had sent a sex toy that you'd find in Paris Hilton's dresser or something. :confu

Nope, nothing bad at all. There's a very nice GT350 H model with silver blue paint, so I can make it look just like the real thing. I'll have to build the engine with a few holes in it and at least one flat tire. Kevin also sent me a Jegs hat....like I don't have a dozen of those in the garage :roll All in all, it's a great score and the model will be fun to build....per the real thing. [nb]I'll need to make the engine easy to remove![/nb]

Here are the requisite pics.

Looks like every other hat I wear!

Thanks Kevin :thu SWMBO thought it was quite funny.

My WE gift showed up today and I sunk my teeth right into it!

While it is not quite the boiled peanuts I was looking forward too....a man sized reeces cup is a more than adequate substitute.

Opening it up it was easy enough but difficult at first to figure out who sent it... :wtf

Then the parcel inside the parcel gave a clue....there are only a couple princesses around here.... :peter

The interesting box wrapped inside the paper inside the parcel narrowed that list down a little more...... :homo

The final piece of the puzzle came from the mail girl though. As she handed it to me this morning she said "I'm sorry this would have been here on Saturday but the truck's timing gear broke" :char

So what was in it is what some of you may be asking by now..... :sm_TMI

DSC09377.JPG

I got:
Jeremy's Favorite Cologne and Deodorant....because it makes him feel like a man when he smells like a man. :hide
A booze belt....with a picture thought to appear someone but not completely quite unlike a reminiscent image of myself printed on it. It couldn't be however because the belt only hold 750ml bottles....I don't have anything that small in the house. ;) :beer
An original gone in 60 second DVD....that Louis wants to watch tonight because it has over 300 car crashed in it.
A switch blade comb.....probably from when Jeremy was in his single faux angry man days. Maria says I can't give it to Louis because she is afraid Jeremy used to comb his back hair or something like that :no
A grant steering wheel puller....which if it works as well as a grant wheel does might mean trouble for me in the garage. :rant
A very very man sized pack of reeces cups (see photo 1) :pbj
And lastly...the perfect accessory for anyone with a lift in the garage and walks under their cars routinely......a Greaserama cap

Thanks Jeremy! :yah

Dude, that was like 2400 calories!

But glad you liked it. And the timing gear joke.... priceless. Even Bonnie laughed at it.
