Will a 429 drop right into a 71-73 mach one, without shock tower modifications?

If dropped from a high enough point I'm sure it would make any necessary modifications for a snug fit all by itself!

Pretty sure it will, Tarafied1 has a 429 in his 67 without ST mods.

There was a 73 mustang with a 429 of factory available.
Why shouldn't it fit in a 71-72 ? same body. :hmm
I had the opportunity to buy such one here in Belgium.How rare is that !!!!
But I didn't do it because I hadn't the money for it ( iow my wife would said no )

I'm positive it will. My car had a 460 in it when I bought it. It's tight but it was in there.
