Spent 3 hours tonight putting the car back together so I can wheel it out of the shop. Looks like my father in law wants to move his stuff in and hates the dirt floor. So...he's having roughly 2400 sq foot of floor worth of concrete, six inches thick, poured next week. And once it's cured, the Fairlane gets to move in. And there will be plenty of pics of that when it gets here.

Spent a good part of the day yesterday welding up holes in the firewall. There are A LOT of factory holes! Sure could have used a helper to move my backer piece around inside the car. Hope to find enough time to finish up sometime today. Have to make quite a few patch pieces for all the larger wire port holes, etc. Doing the same fill job on the aprons and towers too. I want everything smooth and not a wire in sight when it's all done. Pics to come.

Yesterday went to a show that was to support local school kids back to school backpacks. Received first place in the 60s Mustang category.
My wife is driving the dark blue stang until we find her a old truck or other vehicle. So today, I swapped steering columns between the two stangs. My wife needed the larger wheel to turn at slow speeds since the dark blue one does not have power steering.
and I need the tilt column in the other stang for leg room. Also found a kink in the AC lines and fixed that. That allows more air through the center vent.

Actually washed the car today and took my son for a spin(of the tires) around town .

Drove it to a Cruise/Show and came home with this.
Any larger and it wouldn't fit in the car! Congrats

I installed an MSD Atomic fuel injection system with a Tanksinc in tank fuel pump.
It fired right up and seems to run well. I have to fix a brake issue before I hit the road.

Went to a local car show that was a bust. Only 3 other cars were there, WTF??? Ended up going on a short cruise and then taking PJ on a long walk.
What's with your rear glass in the first pic? What were you standing behind the car picking your nose and had to photo-shop yourself out? And only 3 cars and you apparently STILL couldn't win an award? Damn. It is tough being 
.

Replace the passenger side window regulator and oiled the door latch. I thing the regulator only lasted about 5 years. It sure is frustrating to replace parts that you already replaced.
A few years ago, I filed all the sharp edges to all the cutouts in the doors. It was sure nice to to get a lot of scrapes and cuts while doing this repair like I have in the past.
