I am Back and Now Retired!

I has taken a while to get settled since I retired on 12/31/24. I am still rebuilding my stamina from my knee replacement. Too much I want to do right now.

We plan to do several car trips this year in the Mustang.

I need to get the speedo fixed first. It keep chewing up the speedometer gears.

Saw the Hot Rod Power tour has finally put up a schedule. Julie and I would like to do this again, any others?

Welcome back and congratulations!

Who needs a speedo.....just drive it until the guys with the flashing lights tell you that you are going too fast!

Congratz man ! Nothing has to be done anymore. Everything can be done..or not.

Hope you're making good progress with the knee. It will take a bit of time and effort before you're at full speed again, but keep at it.

One of my likes about being retired is not having an alarm clock wake me up in the morning.

My back was hurting this last week so Julie has me on light duty! Cleaned, lubed and waxed one of my toolboxes. I need to move some things in the garage so I need to clear it with the Boss.

try building a deck.:p
No thanks. My Dad ruined decks for me. I had to help him add a deck to the Farm house. Then the next year he would add a roof (attached to the house over it That I had to shingle) to keep the rain off. Then the next year we would screen it in to keep the bugs out. The some time in the future3 it would get finished out on the inside and windows replaced the screens. New room! Guess what, the cycle then would repeat with building a new deck.

I have been using my Dad's farm truck (2004 Ranger) as a daily driver. I've slowly been removing the 20 + years of dirt and neglect. I am tackling the hubcaps. I almost forgot a before picture. There was 20 + years of caked on dirt. The before picture was after cleaning with soap and water.

All Done polishing. 2 of the hubcaps had bad cracks and did not survive. I found a set on Amazon for $70.00 and will order them later.
