2026 Hot Rod Power Tour

Julie and I are going, anyone else? Anyone live close to any of the venues and want to meet for the evening? This year is celebrating to 100th anniversary of Route 66.

  • Kickoff/Day 1: June 8—Route 66 Raceway, Joliet, IL
  • Day 2: June 9—Village of Rantoul, Rantoul, IL
  • Day 3: June 10—World Wide Technology Raceway, St. Louis, MO
  • Day 4: June 11—Missouri State University, Springfield, MO
  • Day 5: June 12—Tulsa Raceway Park, Tulsa, OK
 
Route 66 Raceway is "local" to me. About a quick 40 minute drive from the house. Not sure if I will be around that week to join in or not. Hope so. One of these days I need to make it to a Power Tour!
 
Completed the Power Tour last week. Lets just say the mustang did not have any fatal breakdowns. We did almost 3000 miles in 7 days which included getting there and back. We almost went the same route up as the tour came back. This allowed us to see some of the site without 5,000r other people try to also se them.

Some pic from the drive up. JUle made me this bag for the trip and matched the interior of the stang.
