Looking to buy again Skip...?

Oh heck no.

This is the place that I sold my old Mach to.

I just thought this was interesting and was post worthy.

Hook it up!!! We've got proof of concept that it'd fit now :) I'll tell you what I didn't like about the interior. The plasti-chrome 80's GM-style power window switches slapped on top of that console. That was really one of my main stylistic complaints, (the K-Member thing was pretty bad, too) but I think something like that can really detract from a build. There are so many better options in the aftermarket for window switches now, and that choice was just, IMHO, wrong.

LOL this coming from a guy with a giant rotted out piece missing from the front right fender.

The K-member fabrication and Coil-over-leaf setup have me skeert...such high quality injunearring! Fix that, toss the boat anchor off the nearest cliff, and I'd rock it. :lol

I've never been a fan of swapping the late model interiors into the classics. The classics are a classic for a reason and I personally don't think it is worth the swap (then again, I have never been a huge fan of the 95-04 interiors). The other thing that bothers me is if you're going to go through all of that to drop in a 4.6 mod motor (and I thought the shock towers would have to come out to fit one?), why not take a little time to clean up the look? There is just way too much going on in the engine bay for me to like the lines.

Not to mention it looks like he dropped in the 4.6 stock. Why go through all of those issues for a mere 260 hp? For what that motor and trans likely set him back, I bet you could build a pretty stout 302/351. I do love that GRABBER ORANGE though!

It almost looks like they set the body down on a 99-04 floor and drive train. Might have been easier. That front end is scary....

I could be wrong but it appears they took the firewall and shock towers from the late model and put them on this car. Thats definitely not an original looking firewall and the shock towers with the caster/camber plates are smaller than the factory 69/70 towers.

Def not my thing.. I would have much rather put a late model 5.0 or something rather along those lines.. And the interior just doesn't look right in there.. They should have done a complete swap including the seats...

The suspension system is a disaster waiting to happen.

Did all of the crud on the rearend simply get painted over?

Such a shame that too many corners were cut. By outward first impressions the car looks nice, but after looking at the detailed pictures it's evident that the car is a POS with a nice paint scheme/color.
