Wally World didn't have mobil I in 15-50 so I stopped at O'reilys (sp.?) it came to just over $20 with tax! I need it to refill my hydrostats in my exmark rider after I change the filters--(200 hour maintenance)--glad it is goes 500 hours after this. I also used cheaper full synthetic to change the engine oil. I also changed the oil in the compressor, I use synthetic in my compressor and it was like new after 2 years--(it is not used a lot). I never imagined I would see $10 per quart oil in my lifetime. (I know the purple stuff and racing oil is more--the stuff I bought is daily driver oil for a lot of people).

Wow that's a lot. Round here I try to catch it on sale. I normally can buy the stuff on the 5 qt jug for only a few bucks more than the dyno's. Mobil 1 is up there with the best of the best and I'm really not sure the purple stuff and Ames oil is any better. Some of the test results I've seen actually list Mobil 1 on top of these other two.

yep, mobil 1 is $10 per qt here too. i've been keeping my eye out at autozone & advance for the sales. they alternate months most of the time with the 5qt jug + a filter for $29.

Heck I bought LIFETIME oil from a guy at the flee market a few years ago. Best $15 I ever spent. Haven't changed the oil since. :sarc :roll
