302 351W Timing cover wanted...

Which one? I have one that doesn't have a provision for a mech fuel pump off a late model 5.0. I have one for with the fuel pump provision, but I've already promised it.

Thanks Bill, I need one for the Boss, so the one that's promised is the one I need...
I will prolly just get a repop from NAPA, once its painted it looks just like OEM...

The aftermarket Dorman units (which is what Napa sells under their Balkamp brand) aren't fantastic. I've seen several and haven't been impressed. I've even seen a couple where the bore for the crank seal is drilled out too far and the seal falls right through.

I have a used 289 timing cover, but you'd have to give me some time (2-4 weeks) to get it out of storage. Otherwise, I'd recommend an OE Ford tooling unit, which is what I ended up putting on my motor. The quality is much better than the typical aftermarket pieces.

I have a late model unit as well, i picked the one with the fuel pump opening up from speedway motors, they were about the cheapest i'd seen.
