"Horseplay" said:Not insane. Really depends on what it has under the hood, etc. If it is just some junk 350/turbo drop in and junk yard brake set-up etc. Yeah, probably crazy. Decent, well done drive train, quality construction then it is probably a fair swap. I wouldn't do it as your car would be worth more when done but it sure seems you are looking to get something you can drive.
I kinda figured that was what it might be hiding and that he'd want quite a bit for it. Case of someone wanting back too much of what they have into something that just isn't worth it. Too bad as it could have been a fun "drive while you finish it project"."67 Fastback" said:We were too far apart on price. He's asking 25k and I didn't even make an offer. 327/350t trans with a chevy rear end... :barf1
My one and only male cousin got a 67 bird for his first car. Still has it some 30 years later. I don't think it has actually run for more than one of those years though."tarafied1" said:just finish yer FB ya nut!
I know exactly what your going thru. I don't know how many times I was at the same point in my build but I am so glad I stuck with it. The only car I could see you swapping for would be your true love, 67 Firebird.
