67 bucket seats

So I have a dilemma; I have a pair of 67 buckets that have been recovered by a previous owner but he didn't put the back adjustment bolts in. I've looked at the seats in my second Mustang and have a good general idea of where the bolts should go but the question is what am I screwing into? Is there a threaded plate inside the cover, or a nut, or a.........?
If anyone can provide the information it would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has pictures, you know what they say about a picture being worth a thousand words.

thanks to all,

Bruce

My seat still has the upholstery on it, but the part the stop screws into is just a flat section of the pipe-like piece of the frame. You can just feel for the flat and poke around the center of the flat section with an awl. The hole should be right there.
