67 Front seats

I now have access to my 67 coupe after cleaning out the garage. Looked inside and the drivers seat is all cracked and needs new covers. But the question is that I was looking at some used seats for sale and they had no tracks. Are the tracks the same on a 69-70 highback seat as the tracks on my 67 seats?

According to some catalogs , there is a difference between 65-68 and 69-70 seat tracks.
Maybe someone can measure the mountingpoints of 69-70 tracks to the seats.?

I'm pulling my driver's seat out of the 70 this week. I can try to get a measurement for you.

That would be great. Can you also take a picture of the underside. The 1/4 - 20 threaded bolts that go through the floor have the same pattern/dimensions from 65 to 70. IDK about 71-73, never had one. But it is how the frame mounts to the seat is what I am trying to find out.

Will do.

If I can get off my lazy butt, I could put the seats I got from Angelo in my car and have the seats out of the 67 with tracks available.

Here's a couple shots of the underside rails.

The bolts that go through the floor look to be approximately 11 1/8" apart.

The bolts holes that attach to the seat are approximately 11 1/2" apart.

I wouldn't think they are different. I put 69/70 seat platforms in my 67 to lower the seats and the seats I had in it went right back in...

Thanks! and no I cut out the 67's and put in 69's. They make the seat sit lower so my head isn't sticking up into the headliner!

So the reason I took my seats out was to install seat track extenders from CJ pony parts. It was a black Friday special.

They add almost 2" of extra leg room. Much more comfortable for my long legs. I highly recommend them.

The only draw back is you can see the front of the tracks more now.

I like those Pat. I am 6 foot and have my seat all the way back but that works for me. But I had to lower mine. I must have a longer body from waste up cuz my head was up in the headliner. In fact I couldn't wear a hat when driving. The 69 seat platforms lowered a good inch or so over the OEM 67 platforms

I've got no roof, so height is isn't the issue for me.
