So what does the choice mean?

Are the semi-Metallics the type that give off all the dust?

I am running Centric # 102.00110 Semi Metallic pads on Red. Dont see them on NAPA's website.

Unfortunately, Napa's pad selection for old cars is really, really thin. The only thing we offer for '67 are the base-line pads, which are organics.

Organics work fine for street driving, but the semi-metallics will transfer heat better. This reduces brake fade, making them better for performance driving. They do give off lots of brake dust and they'll wear your rotors a little faster.

Then organics it is. Not in need of any great performance....no jokes....and hate the dust.
