68 coupe with a cleveland..hooker/summit

So I got a little bit on a parts collecting binge over the holidays. I have a 351c 2v in my 68 mustang. I ended buying a set of hooker full length headers that dump into a 2.5 collector I believe and a header back 2.5 inch exhaust that I think is summits own brand that comes with "turbo mufflers" no H or X pipe. What are your thoughts on this set up? It hasn't been installed yet. Probably won't for a few months. Just wondering what it might sound like and if running it as is will create any problems.

Should I look for an H pipe or X pipe I can bolt in or should I just leave it be?

Thanks guys for the input.

I don't know about those mufflers. Mufflers can make a big difference in sound. I used to run Flowmasters and the car was so loud it was almost unbearable. I put on Magnaflow and now it is so quiet, almost too quiet.
The combo should work okay, X pipe and/or H pipe is a small benefit but it would really depend on the mods to the engine. A mild 351C probably wouldn't mind running no X or H pipe. The crossover could change the sound a little bit vs not running one. The idea is to pull the exhaust pulse from a previous cylinder.

Leave it... if you don't like the sound or want to add an H pipe, you can easily add one yourself if you can weld or have a muffler shop fit the crossover into your summit pipes.

I'd put the effort into making sure you don't have ground clearance issues with the headers. Full length header + speed bumps = ouch.
