Is their any difference between 69-72 clutch linkage?

Not 100% sure but I would say yes. 69-70 platform is different than 71-73, I think the 71-73 were based off the Torino platform.

According to NPD, the 69/70's vary depending upon engine size, and the 71-73's are different animals than the earlier years. This is just for the upper and lower rods. I'm sure the z-bar is also different---they were different every year Ford made a clutch. It seems Ford couldn't get a design they liked. NPD doesn't list a z-bar beyond 1970.

interesting. I am going to try and see if I can do what craig did and and utilize mechanical linkage with a cleveland in my 68
