69 headlight harness

to remove the headlight harness on the 69 at the firewall, do i need to remove the bolt in the fuse block to get it loose? been too many years & althouth its got a bungled spot where the alt. harness should plug in, i don't want to mess it up :hs

IIRC Yes loosen the bolt and remove the FB first, than remove the outer part of the wiring harness in the engine compartment.
