Finally starting to weld on the quarters...I picked up my 240v spot welder yesterday, spent the morning getting evening thing clamped, screwed together, and tight. Then Tested it out....I tell you what, 5 seconds is all you need or it will burn through

Cars coming along nicely! I need to get back to working on mine, been sidetracked with my daily running like crap.

Got the mig out and started welding on the rest of the drivers side quarter

Removed all the screws and welded those up. Have to finish the wheel well and a couple other things and the drivers side is all in

yeah, luckily it isnt too bad, i actually feel like i did a semi decent job lol

Grinded the welds smooth, epoxy coated, seam sealed, and then put a little Everglass in the lead fill area

Can someone tell me how this quarter window drip goes on a 69.....feel almost like it goes over the top drip rail but not sure how far down it goes and want to make sure I don't mess this up

I can tell you that the way you are holding it overlapping from the bottom would be correct to keep the water flowing properly. No idea exactly how low it should go but the same commonsense requirement of it needing to divert the water should guide you.

Maybe best way is to take the chrome diprail , positioned along the driprail and position it according .
