70_Fastback: RAT ROD - 193x Ford / 1942 GMC Truck

I like the 4'-6" better, but before you decide, you should set the front out there so you get a complete proportional vision. As others have said, it needs a little more behind the wheels.
 
I like the smaller bed but the wheel needs to be a bit forward from where it is and a larger tire..

4' 6" box, but move the rear wheels a tad forward.

I also agree that it would be good to mock up the front end so you can see the total length *before* you start cutting the bed.

Nice to see you making good progress.
 
I like the short short box (3'6") if the wheel is centered but I will ride in it no matter what you come up with (hint hint).

OK, another shot; 4'-6" box with centered wheels. Tire also enlarged a bit more.

I like it, but the bed needs to be 6" longer for a 5' bed. The 6" should be in the back. You will need to do something to add weight to the rear in order to get traction!
