'71 to '73 Mach 1 Tire Size

Hi:

I am doing some general research on '71 to '72 Mach 1s looking towards a possible purchase, and am wondering what is the largest size tire that people can/have put on the standard size wheels (Magnum 500s) for '71 and '72 WITHOUT any changes such as fender rolling, lifting the rear etc.
