91-year-old puts 562,000 miles on same car

That's the nicest story I've seen in a while! thanks Kat! Imagine how much money she has saved on NOt buying new cars every so often like most of us do today!
That car was kind of pricey in its day wasn't it?

Well I have no idea if it was pricey.. I wasn't born until '78. :lol But I think I recall reading that some mustangs brand new were around 2-3k back in the day, so her car sounds like it was pricey at what $3,300? when she bought it. I liked how she's taken advantage of all the lifetime warranties on parts. Smart woman! Oh and just had to giggle about she said the car was better than a man. :10

Dad paid 3799 for a '65 Olds Starfire out the door in late 1964. They only kept their cars about seven years back then and he actually paid less for a '73 Chevy Laguna when they replaced the Starfire in '72.

There are a bunch of videos of and interviews with Rachel that can be found on Google and she's made quite a name for herself in the last few years. Gotta admire a woman whose car has outlasted three men LOL.

I saw this on the news. Cool story. :coo

Pretty amazing she has been able to keep that car looking that good with all the road salt we have up here in WI.
She is only about an hour and a half from me.
