A Different Perspective of the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Nice aerial view Larry! I wonder if that was the same funky looking RC helicopter we saw at mustang alley? Did you ever post the vid you took on youtube?
 
I've never been there, but I gotta say...that is one wide 8-lane road that cuts through what appears to be the countryside in one straight line for a long, long way!
 
Yes it is very straight. Detroit was set up like a wagon wheel and Woodward is one of the spokes. It starts at the river in downtown Detroit and goes straight through to Pontiac, about 25 miles. Not all of it is divide but most of it is. The cruise goes through many communities for 16 miles. That video must have been shot early in the morning, other wise the traffic wouldn't have been moving.
