A few pics from the first weekend of Deer Season

Corn Hauler
It was warm (80s) and the night was clear with a bright moon. The animals were eating at night so I did not see anything during the day. Saturday afternoon we had thunderstorms pop up due to the heat. Al least It was quiet and I had time to recharge my batteries.

Sitting here looking at the pictures and then....................the deer are humpin. You just never know what your gonna see.

I did what I know better to do and took a poor shot at a pronghorn buck this a.m., hit some weeds and completely missed (glad I didn't wound it) ---I watched a doe and fawn in the rain tonight for about 1/2 hour---I am just meat hunting--I will shoot a big buck if he stumbles by but not a big thing. Been out 3 times and had deer around me twice. This was the first deer I have shot at in 15 years.

You do realize what you've done right? Dale will be reading the Fix from a padded room once he sees his deer porn is gone.
