a lesser place...

the world became a lesser place Monday with the passing of my father. everyone who had the opportunity to meet & know him know what I mean. he never met a stranger & would do anything in his power to help someone out. I considered it an honor & privilege to have been blessed to have him as my dad. he taught me everything I know about being a man & father but the most amazing thing is he didn't do it with words, he set the example with his actions. he was my best friend, advisor & biggest cheerleader through the years & even though the car building, shows, cruise ins & life in general will still go on, they just wont ever be the same. i'll really miss him...

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure that he has given you a lifetime of words of encouragement that will resonate forever. I'm also sure he is still with you. Take care.

Very sorry for your loss Steve. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Sounds like he was a great man. Remember the good times and celebrate his life.

Very sorry to hear the news, his memories will never fade.

Steve condolences and prayers for you and the family. I have never met you or your father, however your words brought a tear to my eye because they remind me of my Dad. He is still here in body only, the mind is mostly gone. The only words that I can offer you is to celebrate his life.

Steve our prayers are with you. May he live on in you and your family and all those he touched throughout his life!

May God comfort you and your family, knowing he is now with God doing the father's work!

Sorry for your loss Steve.

I can recall several times talking with you when you were headed to Pop's to work with him. It was obvious you enjoyed your time with him.

Steve, this news saddens my heart. I so enjoyed sitting and talking with him and your family just a month ago at the GG show. I only had the pleasure of meeting Pops a few times but it was always interesting, very personable.

We are in La. visiting my 84yo folks and see services are today, wish I could be there to pay my respects and offer support in person. If there is anything I can do for you and Steph or the family please don't hesitate to ask.
Jon
