A real man's top loader........

Besides needing to work on Shag, my Chebbie truck's tranny decides to go south suddenly. Here is a very simple top loader, GM's SM420 4spd with a granny 1st. Next day or two I'll drop this pup and give it to my tranny guy to rebuild. Guess no yard rubbish run to the dump this weekend.

I like that efficient access panel in the floor. Will you borrow the idea from GM and do the same with Shag?

These transmissions make great swaps into jeeps as well...only problem is hard parts are hard/nearly impossible to find. But they are without a doubt one of the strongest transmissions ever built
