Tandoor Naan Galic Pizza

*Tandoor Naan's Garlic bread from WholeFoods
* Olive Oil
* Cheese - I normally use fresh Mozzarella thinly sliced. Smoked Muenster would be good as well
* Fresh Basil leaves
* Pesto or Red sauce to taste
* Black or Kalamata olive slices
* Garlic cloves - precooked
* Prosciutto (unless you are a vegan)

Using a toaster, I lightly toast the bread by itself for 3-4 minutes just to give it a little crusty feeling. Afterwards I simply pile on the above ingredients typically making them different. The right one has Prosciutto and a different homemade olive/caper sauce where as the left one has store bought pesto. After loading them up, I put them back into the toaster and cooked until the cheese is melted. Let them cool for a couple minutes and then chase them with a pizza cutter.

For the two of us, this and a bottle of white wine makes a perfect dinner. - belch!!

Do you make your own pesto?

Quite often for the ladies of the house, but I personally prefer my Olive/Caper Puree sauce:

1 cup pitted black olives (Kalamata as an option)
* 1/3 cup brined capers, drained
* 2 cloves garlic or 3-4 already cooked cloves
* 1/4 cup roughly chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
* 1/4 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 6 tablespoons olive oil

Dump in blender and go for it. It will make lots to put in a jar and keep in refer for other meals.

i am sorry that your wife died and you have to do your own cooking

I'm LMFAO!!!!

That was funny; but on the same dime, I cook all of the time. And enjoy it.
