I was looking up the craiglist listing for a friend of a friend's 68 Mustang...never found it, but I did find this:

I thought the pics and wording seemed very familiar so I ran a quick VMF search and found this:

http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/trade-free-mustang-ford-parts/609392-67-68-flamingriver-rack-pinion-other-67-mustang-parts.html

Almost has to be the same guy, phone # is a cellphone in Indy and it's written in the same ADDHD spaz way, not to mention the similarities in the pics. I bet he spazzed out and quit on it. :lol

Do we have Nick T's somewhat skilled successor here?

Also tripped over some decent looking deals and some comedy:

http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1571386410.html ($5 says its rotten as all get-out)
http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1567384774.html Cheap & clean-ish early 5.0

Damn! Cars are much cheaper over there than around here. I'll have to look over there when I am ready for the next project.

Did you notice the frame was "soiled" on the 80, lol., I wonder what they would really take for the 73, might be a neat weekend toy with 5-6 hundred horses under the hood, expensive toy though.

Hmmm...... I didn't realize he was selling his car. He just called me yesterday and I returned his call this morning. This FB was bought here in my hometown a couple years ago from a friend of mine who owns/runs a body shop. The car is 100% solid and the buyer in Indiana "stole" it with a purchase price ~$8k. The car is painted I believe Torch Red and the Indiana owner wanted to get the paint codes from my body shop buddy, but the shop's phone number had changed. I ran down there this AM, got the codes and called the Indy owner back.

According to the Indy owner (I forget his darn name, but just got off the phone with him) he's installed a RRS front suspension to fit a Cobra 4.6 DOHC w/T-56 and IRS and Dave Streibling @ DVS is going to button up the wiring for the motor.

He never mentioned selling the car, weird.

BTW, I mentioned StangFix to him......
