AAA to the rescue

Started out to a car show this morning and about 1/4 mile from the house the car just died. A neighbor thought that it was out of gas. Primed the carb and it fired up. Got SWMBO to bring a can of gas put it in nothing. Primed the carb again and it fired. Assume it the mechanical pump which is at least 20 years old. Will change it out later today and see.
