Posting this on a couple forums.

Advance Auto is blowing out the parts with massive discounts as they are closing the west coast stores.
Just stocked up on parts supplies.

01 Mountaineer . Bosch oxygen sensors for $6.60 , $5 and $3.40

07 Malibu calipers $7.40 ,coated rotors $17.40 , premium pads $15

coated brake/fuel lines $1.25 and less , 5 foot length

Iridium plugs $2.40

and a few other items . Probably will go back for some more stuff.

I wonder how many of those parts will last longer than 1 month  Not surprising they are closing so many stores, their prices have skyrocketed while parts quality has massively declined in the past few years. Not that the other chain auto parts stores are doing any better (well, except NAPA)...

I just picked up a spare new 130 amp alternator for $20.
They said everything has to be gone by sometime in March.

As an O’Reilly employee I can tell you I’m seeing more parts NOT made in China.
I‘ve seen brake shoes now being made in USA and ignition parts now coming
from Mexico , Taiwan, Japan and parts of Europe with some still from China.
