has anyone dealt with advance steering supply? I was at a swap meet today and they had rebuilt long shaft steering boxes for 64-66 mustang, power and manual for $200. This seems to low to be true. They have a web site www.advancesteeringsupply.com. They are located in Lake Elsmore, CA. Just wondering if the place is any good.
thanks,

I sure wish I had found this post sooner! Andrew of Advanced Steering Supply cannot be trusted!! I would like to know where you saw him (which swap meet). He will not be allowed back to Gulfport,MS swap meet, although I wish he would come back so we could confront him. In October 2012 he was at Cruisin the Coast swap meet. We gave him a check for $585.00 for a power steering kit for our 1955 Chevy. He said his credit card machine wasn't working and some people gave him cash. He promised shipment in a couple of weeks. Our check cleared the bank and we never received the parts. He first said he shipped the order and would have to check on it. Then said he was having trouble getting parts. Then wouldn't answer phone. We have tried several phone numbers,e-mail and his web site. No response. I have names of at least 9 people who were taken by him at that swap meet and a few others from other states. If you will go to HubGarage.com you can see more complaints. If you can find out what swap meets he will be at in the future , I would love to know.

Sounds like a stroke to me. Lotta BBB complaints filed and unresolved.
Never heard of them before and I'm in the suspension and steering business.
About an hour from my house. Lots of cheese-balls in Elsinore too- they're
there deliberately.....

We never received our power steering kit from Andrew at Advance Steering Supply in Lake Elsinore,CA, or our money back. Very disappointing it sure cuts down on our trust of people.
He should be tarred & feathered.
