Hi all, I'm in the middle of doing some rewiring (headlight relays, fan control, one wire alt etc. I would like to remove the orig alt harness and get rid of the voltage reg. plug. I see I can remove all of it except for the green w/red stripe wire. Does this wire do anything other than feed the alt light? or can i cut it cap it and leave it in the harness? Thanks, kip

I've been preparing for an Alt upgrade and have acquired a few diagrams you might like...
