Our lil man decided to dig in and momma had to have a c section. Momma and baby Austin are fine. 7 pounds, 11 oz. As per house rules, here is the required pics.

Cool beans! Congrats to your whole family. Your life has now changed, for the better, but it has changed. You are going really have to help the SWMBO now, my daughter came by c-section as well and if my SWMBATH[nb]she who must be attila the hun or my mother-in-law[/nb] did not come out and help I would have been dead meat. :char

I knew something like this would happen when they said they were inducing labor. So I went ahead and took 2 weeks off of work to stay home with momma and the lil guy while she heals up.
Since I had all day with him, my mom took night duty with the wife. My folks live out of town, so they brought their rv, and are camping out for a while. Only felt fair to let her have her grandma time and help out my wife with motherhood basics 101. My wife TOLD me to go home and keep the dog company since he's been basically alone for a day.

Glad to hear that everything is fine with mom and baby......oh and you too. Congrats to all.
 
Thanks all. Mom and lil one have both been given the once over and are all but cleared from the hospital. Hopefully we get to come home later today. :yah
