Another DelMarVa photo op.....

Picture of my son (Joe) with Russell Mitchell.

Exile Cycles had a display setup at one of the event sites. Russell Mitchell was just sitting there soaking up some sun so I approached him to tell him my son had one of his bikes there at the rally. He then insisted that we bring it over to the display area so that he could check it out. He's actually not the dickhead that he's purported to be. He confirmed that the bike was one of only two that they'd built.

That is cool.....nice bike.
:wstup How about some more pics with handle bar headlight, and front wheel? I assume its the traditional handle bar thats on most exile bikes?

Did he sell the Red chopper one and buy that one?

Backwards, but yes. He bought the Exile bike and then later sold the Big Bear chopper.

More pictures (sons GF is standing to his right)

Barely visible is a custom tail-light/brake-light that we made for the bike. It's mounted on the left side of the bike just forward of the rear axle. Although no detail is visible in this photo, it come out looking/working pretty good. It's an old piston from a flathead Ford that houses a light bulb and has a red lens affixed to the skirt end of the piston. I'll try and remember to post a better picture of it.

Man, that headlight looks really small, maybe its just the size of the front tire that makes it look that way. Nice bike!

Thats his trade mark i think. Little billet bezel and three screw heads.

I would like to get m hands on this one.

Hey Dave, does the GF ride or just run along beside your son when he rides??

I would like to get my hands on this one.

Oddly enough, we were just talking about that trike last night.... seriously sick ride!

The son's GF has the luxury of riding with me whenever we go out as I'm the only one with a passenger seat.

yeah, love the industrial look in both cars and bikes. i remember him from bike build-off challenges on Discovery couple years ago.

Sorry Dave but I just don't see enough hot chicks in this post to warrant it's existence so you better beef it up a little. Please? Pretty Please?
