Another idea about Johnpro

How about voting each year on a "Johnpro car (or person) of the year"? We had one of our beloved members pass away a few years ago. He came up with the name of our show (Ponies & Snakes) and we now give a memorial award for him at our show. Just something to think about.

I agree so much with that statement. Will John be remembered more for beautiful Mustangs or for helping the "other dude"? I think that that the award should be given to an individual who is helpful to others, does not talk down to them or ever flame anyone. At the vmf we had the Doofus award pointing out how dumb we all can be. Yes that has been brought up here from time to time, but that was more of a vmf thing. So here at the StangFix we will look for the positive in someone for the johnpro award. It should also be about multiple acts of helpfulness. :WP

Great thoughts, Tim. I, for one, think we should follow the example of the Bay Area bunch, who always have a Waldopro doll there at the ready when they get together to work on somebody's car. (or abuse rubber chickens....) That simple action takes on so much more significance now.

Well crap, that leaves me out of the running.......unless I start being nice.

nah, if nobody has turned up missing or dead in the "political" section, i think everything else is more than safe. :craz in all seriousness, in the spirit of john i think everyone nominated would feel it an honor & cheer the other nominees on to an eventual final choice.
